Half Penny Token issued by the Bank of Upper Canada in 1852. This coin was produced pre confederation by the bank of Upper Canada (now know as Ontario) due to a coinage shortage. The coin features St George slaying the dragon on the face and the Upper Canada Coat of Arms on the reverse - upside down.
In very good condition, the copper coin measures 27.6mm in diameter. What a great piece to have in your collection!
