Dominion of Canada 25 Cent Shinplaster signed by H. Boville (Deputy Minister of Finance) issued January 2nd 1900.
A brief history of the shinplaster will tell you it was a promissory note of little value issued by the bank when coins were in shortage due to the rising cost of metal that was used to manufacture them.
This bank note is in very good condition with no tears. It has been folded many times and there is a nick in the bottom centre of the bill but other than that, is in great condition. Please refer to pictures for a closer look.
