Featuring salt and pepper shakers and a mustard jar, this pretty in pink quilted glass cruet set from the Victorian Era is just the thing that's missing from your table! Although there are no markings on the set, after some research I believe it to have been manufactured by Dithiridge & Company (1860-190?) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania U.S.A.
In very good condition, the only defects are on the inside of the base rim where you will find a few chips in the glass. Please refer to pictures for details. The threaded tops to the jars also show signs of age and the mustard jar hinged lid is no longer hinged. The inside rims of the containers have glass defects as well. All this is to be expected of an item this age. Measures approximately 7" high and has a 6" diameter.
The newspaper cutout was found inside the salt shaker. What an intriguing quote!
